Good News of Jesus Christ

We all are sinners(Rom 3:23) Everyday each one of us sins in our thoughts and in our actions.  We are guilty before God. Due to our sin each one of us deservably has earned a place in hell. But God in His grace sent His only Son Jesus Christ to this earth to die upon the cross to pay for our sins.(John 3:16, 2 Cor 5:21). All you have to do is repent(turn from your sin) and turn to Jesus Christ and ask Him to forgive you of your sins. You must believe that He died upon the cross to pay for your sins and that you cannot earn your own way to heaven. You must believe that on the third day He rose again(Jesus is alive)You must confess with your mouth that He is Lord.  Lastly, coming to Jesus does not mean that afterwards you can live any way you please.  The bible says we must pick up our cross and follow Him.  This means you are giving your life to Him and now you are going to live to serve and please God.  This is the good news because Jesus paid for our sins.  We don't have to go to hell, but we can receive the gift of eternal life through what Jesus has done for us.  We should be thanking Him.  If you have asked Jesus Christ to be your Lord and Savior, congratulations on your salvation and your placement into the family of God.
